We love it!! Thank you. Shame it's raining this afternoon but what the heck. Sorry but I can't remember who you are but seriously, what a fab place. The children and I just wish we were in a big tent and not a lodge. Maybe next time (we'll just have to leave dh at home).

looks great ! Do they do short breaks over the summer or just full weeks ?

I love the area, did you visit Bewilderwood? Its amazing.

mckenzie · 02/06/2010 09:53

I think they do long weekends and five days midweek too (that's what we are doing) the weather this morning is perfect and we are off to visit thebroads, once I candrap ds away from the football pitch and his new friends! Only downside is the animal noises at 5am that have woken the DCs up these last two mornings!!
Bewilderwood has been highly recommended but itgets so busy during the holidays. We might save it for another visit maybe over an inset day.

Me and ds 7 visited here for a long weekend. We were lucky with the weather and stayed in the one bed cottage. Loved it.I posted on here about it a couple of years ago.

Sorry it's taken me so long to post again. Serin - it was FAB! The weather helped obviously but the people, the place, the facilities - everything was great. Thank you. We'll definitely be going back and if I have my way, it'll be with a tent!!
