Plymouth- place to stay for family of 5

In July, we are going to a wedding in Cornwall, en route of our holiday to France.

To make it as simple as possible, we need to find somewhere to stay in Plymouth for two nights. I have looked into the Travellodge/Premier Inn options. Basically because there are 5 of us we will need 2 rooms, which is pricey.

In the past we have stayed in appartments(in other places) and these have worked out much cheaper. I can't find any on the net.

Would anyone out there know of anything in Plymouth/closeby which would suit a family of 5?

China fleet country club at saltash might be a possibility. They have small appts you can rent for a night or two and you have access to a swimming pool and restaurant.

We have also stayed at the future inn in plymouth. Might be worth asking if they have any rooms to sleep 5.
