Can you recommend a holiday cottage to sleep 6+baby somewhere near the sea?

On the shortlist, Isle of Wight, Dorset, Norfolk but open to other ideas. though Cornwall is too far. Two families so looking for at least 3 bedrooms but 4 would be better, and if 2 were doubles and had en-suites that would be perfect. Also on the wish list, garden space with equipment for 2 three year olds and an indoor swimming pool!
Looking mid-Sep for 4 day stay be it over the weekend or mid-week.

Any hidden gems out there?

What's your budget? Have you tried 'Baby friendly boltholes'? They're a small company with all properties set up to equip for young children/babies.

How about here?

Haven't been as only just opened for business, but it is owned by a well respected MNer (not me!)

No indoor pool (but only 3 mins from beach) and not sure about garden equipment, but you could email and ask.

Budget, £600 ish?
Maybe a bit more if we got an extra night.

I did look at 'baby friendly boltholes', some lovely places but nothing that fittted.

Oooh that looks lovely can'tsleep, who's the MNer?

I'm not sure that I should say her MN name, as she's posted in small business ads under her RL name. Have just bumped up the ad for you .

Tobermory · 10/05/2010 21:42

That's fair enough so how do I find small business ads, have never explored that bit of MN!

Will see if it's out of budget!

These are great, the swimming pool is lovely, and you can walk to a shingle beach or drive a bit further to the lovely north norfolk beaches.

Cottages4You is a good website - lots of nice properties.
Also LymeBayHolidays for Dorset.

THIS is in a lovely part of Norfolk

LOL - have linked to the same cottage as BunnyBip!

I know you want a cottage but I have two caravans sited on the caravan park at the back of the Butlins Resort in Minehead. They are both next to the lake and only 10 mins walk to the beach. You can also use the site facilities if you wanted to. The childrem would probably appreciate the facilities on the site. The pool is a real hit.

We have just taken management of a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom waterfront holiday home on Conwy Marina in North Wales. Short walk to the beach, golf and excellent pub restaurant www.northwalesholidaylets.co.uk
