Ideas for days out when staying at Center Parcs, Longleat

Yes I know - committing the cardinal sin and daring to leave the camp but really don't want to just stay in the parc itself. Apart from Longleat Safari Park are there any other recommendations people have for days out around there (I have 3 dcs - 6, and 18mth dts)

Bath would be my first choice. Has a fab play park in the gardens and great open top bus tours. If you haven't been before, it's worth going.

We went for a walk round the lake at Stourhead, absolutely gorgeous hour or so, your 6yr old would be fine. Then lunch at the pub there.

ooh eys - forgot about Stourhead - we loved it there too. Just wish they had a play area for the DCs though.

Thanks for the suggestions. We went to Bath 2 years ago before the dts were born and dd1 then 4 loved the park you mentioned. I seem to remember we had trouble dragging her away from there!
