Has anyone been on a Sun holiday? Which parks are good? Which to avoid?

I'm collecting tokens at the moment for the £15 holidays in the Sun newspaper.

Has anyone been on one before? If so could you please recommend any good holiday parks included in the offer, or any that would be best avoided!

My DS is 2, so somewhere with facilities suitable for that age would be good, and preferably the location would be south or south east England.

Thanks!

We go on them every year, they are for the most part good however we always upgrade which of course costs more.

We have stayed at Primrose valley, one in devon, one in berwick upon Tweed, one in Wales.

All nice but only cos we upgraded.

We go in october so we need heating for the children and for them to be smoke and pet free, and clean with room to manouvre.

Nice kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms.

We have a fab time, go with another family.

If you choose the parks that are just listed as Skegness, Bognor Regis or Minehead with the option to go half board these are Butlins (thy just don't list it on the booking form. Have also stayed at Berwick on tweed, cornwall and Primrose valley all very nice but again we upgrade even if it only to the newest model caravan to guarantee no pets.

agree with meatntatty - if you go in October half-term you need heating.

Have been to 3 - Haven Haggerston Castle, Haven Hafan Y Mor (nr. Pwllheli) and Haven Devon Cliffs (nr Exmouth). Best of the bunch was the Devon Cliffs one.

Thanks.

The website keeps crashing so I haven't been able to see the list of parks available yet. Hope it's working again soon!
