This is my first time I am going to book Haven, I am looking for recommendations for sites to go to with a 2 year old. I was looking at the Sun holidays but it looks complciated to me. I was looking at Caister!!!

we went to seashore last summer, its near casiter and was great, accomodation quite basic and entertainment a bit cheesy but made for a nice week away on a budget.

they have a kids club on every mornings which is free and they have childrens showtime every evening. I like seashore because it has a seperate showbar for families which was smaller and more child friendly than the big scarey showbar. Alot of the other parks only have 1 showbar.

Ooh the panto was good too.

We are going haven again this summer, dd had a great time and loved the characters. But this time we are booking a privately owned caravan. We have paid £650 for a top range caravan in august, if you book through haven for the same park, it was £700 for a basic standard caravan. We do have to pay for our entertainments passes but they are only about £70 per week.

I have also heard very good things about Wild Duck in Norfolk, and know dh used to go to caister when he was a teen, and loved it there.

You will come home knowing the bradley bear song though I'm afraid!

Devon Cliffs is big and in a lovely area. Been there loads of times as a child and now with DC's. Love it.

butter - i have just came back from cala gran We (DD 13 DD 3) had a lovely time the childrens entertainers were fab, in fact all the staff were really helpful.

The Blackpool bus (no 14) stops right outside the park, and comes along every 10 mins - is about a half an hour ride away.

Have a good holiday

That's good to hear
Is there anything you would have taken that you forgot or any tips or anything?

We're taking DD1 (3yo), DD2 (5.5mo), me, my mum and my nana. It should be a lovely, female bonding holiday, with four generations of us. My mum and nana only actually live about half an hours drive from the park anyway (we need to be near for my Grandad, who is very elderly and long term in hospital) but it should be nice to get away and of course DD1 will love the kids club.
