Family-friendly hotel in Norwich??

We want to stay in the city to visit MIL (not enough room in her bungalow for us all to stay over), with 3yo and 10mo so need a family room (and babysitting while we go for dinner would be an added bonus!).

Alternatively self-catering apartment if there are any in the city.

Can anyone recommend anywhere?

This looks good for apartments. Other than that - the Maids Head is a great location, but not sure re family rooms. St Giles Hotel is amazing, and very close to city centre, but probably pricey. There is a Premier Inn that does family rooms and is very nice - and the Travelodge is reasonably new, but right next to the bus station so probably less than quiet.

There's a couple of new travelodges. Where abouts in the city is she?
