Family friendly in the Cotswolds

Hubby has a week off coming up so was thinking of going to visit the parents in Wales but stopping off in the Cotswolds for a couple of days. Does anyone know of anywhere good to stay with kids? Reasonably priced would be good as maternity pay dwindles to nothing...

The Priory, Tetbury?

Can't remember if it was booked or too expensive, but it was a no for some reason. I did a very thorough search and found somewhere that looked perfect for us but then they cancelled our booking so have now booked somewhere which has had quite a few dodgy reviews in terms of service but looks like the room should be great which is what I care about most. Will post back here if it turns out to be any good...
