Saundersfoot. What's it like?

We went to Newquay in W Wales a few years ago and were quite disappointed TBH. The town and the little beach were lovely but there wasn't a lot else there in the way of beaches. We were thinking of trying further south this summer. Saundersfoot looks lovely. Is it? Anyone know it well?

I used to live in Tenby and have visited Saundersfoot a couple of times. This was 15 years ago but I always thought it was never as nice as Tenby.

Saundersfoot is lovely. It is a bit quieter than Tenby but has quite a few different beaches and is very close to Tenby if you fancy a change. There us LOADS to do in the surrounding area too - especially in nice weather - and you must go and visit Barafundle Bay which is beautifully stunning and not too packed. Folly Farm is near too which is a fab days out for kids in all weathers. I don't think you will be disappointed - we love it there

Thanks both. It does sound good. Nearby riding stables too apparently for DD.

I go to Tenby every year and the whole area is fabulous. Between us all who go we have 14 kids ranging from 2-16yrs and everyone enjoys themselves.

You'll have a great time!
