I have been searching the net for 2 hours to try and find a holiday and i can't find what i am looking for.

I'm looking for a 4 or 7 night holiday from May 31st (or the following week).

We want to stay in a small holiday park (somewhere not too noisy), we will be taking our car so can drive to attractions/beaches.

Our price range is only 150-200.00 (maybe a little more).

It really important that its not too noisy or too close to water as i have 2 dd's with Autism, we are not bothered about entertainment etc as we can use the car (so just somewhere to sleep really).

Please help me find a holiday?

What's the problems with the ones you've seen? Too expensive? Not the right places?

Will you camp or are you after a caravan?

Most of them are just too big (the sites), we would rather go somewhere without entertainment and on site activities. We would like to stay in a caravan or lodge, dd2 would not be safe in a tent as she would get out . I have found a really nice park in Devon which is next too the sea but possibly a bit too close to the sea for dd2.

Croyde Unison is nice. Quite small, not that much on site entertainment. It is near the sea though, just the other side of the dunes.

are you looking for somewhere like this perhaps?

Tbh, you might really struggle with that budget. The Penhale site I linked to is more like £300 at that time of year.

have you tried the uk campsite website? You can narrow by Statics for Hire.

This link might work for East cornwall (then again, it might not!)

We have just booked a caravan at the welcome holiday park in Dawlish Warren for about 200 quid. It does have in-park entertainment though but its not over the top, we went 2 years ago and had no problems with noise or anything like that.
Its an ideal location for all different days out. Pennywell childrens farm, the steam railway, Paignton Zoo, there is a castle just down the road plus also the beach and the aquarium in Plymouth was really good but a fair drive.

The park itself is pure cheese on toast but the caravans are clean and its a bargain, you cant go wrong!

try this site web site and call the owner he is very helpful and has just helped my friend with a stay in cornwall on a lodge park but i know it has water as her son is booked on a surf course on a new wave machine on a lake on the park, but she explained what she needed and they came up with the answer
she is going at easter and i await her response as i have used this company twice

it's half-term week - you are going to be lucky to find something that cheap

twinklytoes · 19/03/2010 22:35

stoneleigh, sidmouth

this might do it. small site, all chalets are privately owned and let out. website still showing that pool and pub open but I believe that they are currently closed for refurb.

my quick search found 7nights for £280 so you might be able to knock them down for 4 nights.
