Easter break - Toddler and baby within an hour of London?

Hi,

I've lived in the UK for 9 years but have always done holidays abroad and also occasionally Center Parcs (usually with the in-laws). Would love to find something for a few days for Easter break in the UK. However, will have a 2-year-old toddler and 5-month-old toddler then so really looking for somewhere within 1-1.5 hours drive of SE London. My geography knowledge of the UK is shit a bit rubbish.

Obviously, toddler-friendly would be necessary. Don't want any caravan/camping. A cottage within a working farm would be fantastic. Not sure where to start looking for those... DS1 is very active and really will need something to occupy him! Soft play / Child play area / Indoor pool etc would be so handy! He loves animals, vehicles (especially trains), swimming etc... Oh yes, in-laws will likely come to so will need a 3-bedroom. Any suggestions or where to start looking?

Many thanks!

Ax

babyfriendlyboltholes.co.uk is a good start.

Or mrandmrssmith.com have a child friendly search facility.

Thank you. Have checked out baby friendly boltholes but most of their farm stays are in Cornwall, which is just too far for us. Will check out Mr and Mrs Smith.
