Morning all
I'm getting married at Easter this year and originally we weren't going to have a honeymoon but have changed our minds!

We need a reasonably priced place to stay that won't mind our 19mth old. We also need ideas for days out, places to eat etc!

I know I'm asking alot but I've had such great advice/tips from you all over the years that I thought it was worth asking!

Oh and nothing too active for the days out... I'll be 20weeks pregnant! Unless of course its something for DP and DS to do while I have a cream tea somewhere nice

We'll be there for about a week

Oh and also, cheapest ways to get over there? I did a search on here and found lots of different recommendations for different companies!

Thanks all!

You can do the crossing with Tesco clubcard rewards. We are doing it that way at half term.

thanks for idea flossie but we haven't got any rewards!

if you check the free-ads in the sunday papers you can usually pick up 2night stays including ferry crossing for a set price per person. sandringham hotel in sandown is one - been there and was lovely, had a room big enough to accomodate a toddler and over looked the beach.

we stayed at Upper Chine Cottages near Sandown last year and had a fab time. Family friendly cottages with indoor playroom, nice grounds, and heated indoor pool. There is a big park just across the road with a playground, and you can walk in a few minutes to the local village with lots of places for slap-up cream tea; its a 15 minute walk (down a big hill) to the beach. Lovely childrens zoo in easy driving distance - called Flamingo Park or something like that.

Highly recommended!
