We live in Bucks, will be going to Brum for a shopping trip, how is it best to get there. Trains from here v. expensive. Options are to drive into Brum centre, drive to a park and ride via M40?? Or catch a train from somewhere like Warwick Parkway station?? Thanks muchly.

If you drive to Berkswell station then you can get the train in and park free, or at least last time you could! Berskwell is in Balsall Common and about a 20 minutes journey into Brum. You have to pay at Warwick Parkway. The train is relatively cheap; I think it is under a fiver.

I haven't used Park & Ride so can't help you there.
