We're travelling from Dunfermline to Cornwall in May and need somewhere to stay overnight in the Midlands area which is about half way for us. There's me, DH and 4 DC (8,6,3,1). Have a bit of a thing about service stations (have had lots of horrible car journeys too and from when we've had to eat the manky food and bath babies in the sink who have had poo up to their armpits) so I'd rather not stay in these motorway motel-type places. Where can we stay where we'll all fit into 1 room or an adjoining room?
