Hi, we are having a really bad time atm, DH cancer is back, he has to go for an emergency PET scan this afternoon. We get the result on the 11th, kids brak up on the 12th. If scan does not tell us anything new, he will be starting 2 months of chemo, then liver surgery, lung surgery, more chemo, over the next 6/7 months. So.......if we can we want to try and get away for the half-term. I would like no more than 4/5 hour drive from Kent, lodge of cottage, forsety, wildlife, fishing and hot tub if poss! Trouble is I can`t book until after the 11th, we have just lost £1000 in deposit on our Florida holiday in May Norfolk area, Hampshire, Dorset possibilities. Thank you. xx

We are off to Dorset at half term, and staying in an apartment with Sykes Cottages.

I am sure most places will have some late avaiaibility, esp if you can phone up.

I am so sorry to hear that your DH's cancer has returned

Oh Triplets, I hope you get some good news on the 11th.

Clippesby Hall in Norfolk is lovely and as you describe. You can beach fish nearby.

Otherwise have you tried Hoseasons? They have lodges.

Thank you Serin, will look that up, its tricky as we just daren`t book until we get those results. We have just lost £1000 on our booked Florida holiday in May
