Don't know much about wales but fancy the North near a beach and looking for a child friendly cottage in July, with a garden. Anybody got inspiration for me or just suggestions of villages or areas ?

we stayed here and it was fab- easy reach of many beaches, walk out of the grounds and you are in scolton country park which has woods, playground etc all for free. It is a little complex of 6 or so cottages with shared use of a lovely pool which we used every day. Also BBQ facilities. Not all have garden but there is courtyard

Thanks will have a look at both . have spent hours on internet looking but hadn't come across either.

You could try www.babyfriendlyboltholes.co.uk if you have not already!

This place is amazing. Really lovely cottage, heated pool on site and not far from some lovely beaches. We were there over xmas.

If you want north I've stayed here and would recommend it.

Bumperlicious · 03/02/2010 19:11

How much did you pay orienteerer? We are looking for a cottage in N Wales too.

orienteerer · 03/02/2010 20:05

Bumperlicious - I really can't remember as we went about 3 or 4 years ago and it was for 3 nights in April. Sorry, not much help.

pembrokeshire holiday cottages and st bride's bay - are companies we are using this year - as they look good - but might be slightly too far south for you

mwasc · 04/02/2010 19:28

Thanks but i think they are too south as have decided on Anglesey. Still looking if any more ideas...
