Narrow boat holidays-suggestions please

Hi, I am looking for a weekend narrow boat holiday for 4 people + a dog. Thinking maybe Norfolk Broads but open to ideas. Just not too far from South.

We want to go for a weekend and not too expensive.

Any ideas?

We used Black Prince - thought they were very good and boats were better than many we saw enroute.

abif2 - if you are thinking of Norfolk Broads you would be better off on a cruiser, not a narrowboat. Narrowboats normally for canals, you can hire narrowboats on the Broads, but there are not many of them.

We have just hired a boat from Richardsons. Boat seems nice and the price was ok (going in late March).
