Hi, DH and I often go to music festivals and concerts, but thought this might be a good family festival to take DS (15) and DD(11) to. Any recommendations/dos and don'ts etc? Also what is the approx ticket price? Many thanks.

I have been 3yrs running mostly because it is child friendly, dd is now 4.7yr
I like pretty much everything about it
if you go with children get the specific family ticket even if they want their own tent
the family area is safer and quieter

the food is good
the entertainment varied but mostly alternative/indie/poncy
area very pretty
BUT the walk from car park to site is murder
we only manage we copious swearing [http://www.latitudefestival.co.uk/home/ here]]

Its brilliant for kids. I went in 2007 and 2008 and will probably go this year. It has a really relaxed vibe.
