A colleague from work was recommending that I collect the coupons from The Sun for a cheapo holiday this year.

Anyone been on them and if so, what are they like?

A friend of mine went on one last year and enjoyed it. They were upgraded from a 2 bed to a 3bed caravan too.
We're hoping to do it this year. The tokens started on Saturday.

My friend has had the holiday for the last 2 years. Last year she went to Tenby in June and had a lovely time, accommodation really nice. Not sure if you get your exact dates and think you need to be flexible with times that you want to go.

I might try it this year.

We have done many caravan holidays and last yr went on a sun deal - it was disgusting, yes we found underwear too in our first smelly caravan which we soon got moved from when i compained after finding a trillion dead flies withinn the bedding in the wardrobe then dirty pots, under the caravan of our 2nd one were bars of soap used and disgarded, more dead slies but by this time we decided to sleep on our sleeping bags as was getting late to swap again. next door puked through the night and left bedding outside rest of the day (they were hammered and arguing and using lovely language as they came in at midnight so assuming through drink), broken glass everywhere, went swimming to their prestigous swimming plaza at 10am as it opened and nappy bin was overflowing with shitty nappies blatantly shitty nappies stacked alongside it. I could go on honestly i could.... Aksi its from 9.50 - then they addon obligatory bed lined and gas and elec charge and i think the whole thing was £170 for a fri - mon break - we came home on the Sunday as dh had had enough and dc were scared of the screaming through the night. Never again.

Hi, just to balance this out a bit, We do sun holidays at least three times a year. They arent an annual thing, I'm currently collecting the tokens at the moment to go again in April.

We've been to great yarmouth, st minver in cornwall, isle of wight and primrose valley in yorkshire. Yorkshire wasnt great as we went in october and it was indeed freezing.

However, we always upgrade our caravan and it comes in at around 100.00 for a 4 day holiday. It depends on what you want from a holiday, we have a 13 month old and so we just want a base to explore from, we choose places where there are loads of things to do, and get a caravan there. we only use the facilities on site such as the pool and amusements. Incidentally i always cash my tescos clubcard vouchers for days out vouchers too and then spend them on the days out whilst on the sun holiday.

My caravans have always been great and certainly clean, park resorts and parkdean were better than haven for cleanliness.
