Inexpensive holiday for 4 in Woolacombe/Mortehoe?

We've stopped at Golden Coast before, but we feel prices have gone up and standards have gone down

We want to go in the school summer holidays, and are looking to pay £500 per week max, if thats not too much to ask...

Two adults, a 10yo and an 8yo.

Camping???

Thanks, but my son has AS, and I'm not sure being in a tent would be a good idea.

Not sure if you've already done any research or looking for personal recommendations?

We've stayed at Twichen Park a few times.
I hope you find somewhere to stay. It's a beautiful part of the country isn't it? I'd live there if I had the money!

Thanks, LadyG and SpottyMuldoon, I'll give those a try.

I've already looked at Woolacombe Sands, but they're more expensive. We may end up back at Golden Coast anyway, if you go in July there's a 30% discount, even in school hols. We've stayed at Twitchen and Woolacombe sites too, but prefer Golden Coast.

We LOVE Woolacombe - I'd love to live there too, in a sea view apartment overlooking the bay!

Woolacombe is amazing, we've been there loads of times, beautiful beach and nice small town. Not as tacky as some. We've used holidayhomehunter in the past, not too expensive and some lovely flats. good luck !

Thanks, we've booked with Golden Coast now - they had a 30% off offer which ended end of February. Makes a huge difference!
