London with a 2 year old and 6 year old

We are meeting friends in London in February, they have a 2 year old, we have a 6 year old. I'd love so recommendations as what to do. Is the london transport museum any good. Also, restaurants please ..

I would recommend the Natural History museum and the science museum is just round the corner (and they are free). My DS is nuts about dinosaurs and the 'live' T.Rex is amazing. There are so many things to look at.

II would strongly recommend that you take a picnic, both Museums have areas for picnics.
