Any recommendations as to where to go for a week with a really really hyperactive 3 yr old, but not Centre Parcs? tia

You could always try:

Bluestone Leisure, Narbeth, Pembrokeshire, Mid Wales - it is a smaller version of Center Parcs and been highly recommended.

Or how about one of the farm holidays in Cornwall for the animals, tractor rides and swimming pool? Have a look at the other thread on this topic.

We went to Bluestone back in July & had a fab time. The accomodation is far superior to Centerparcs. There are less 'organised' activities and it feels less like being trapped in one place - there's loads to do locally (I am sure your 3 yr old will love Folly Farm) and the hills will be enough to tire out any small child, regarless of how hyperactive they are!

Look out for deals - it is less than 2 years old, so there are plenty of bargains to be had.

ooh thank you both - sounds perfect, and i haven't been to that part of the world in ages. Will go google!
