Bosinver, late pregnancy and lambing

Hi,

Quick (and possibly daft) question to anyone who has been to Bosinver - do they do lambing there, or close by?

We would like to go at the start of May next year, which I think is right at the end of lambing, and I will be 7 months pregnant by then. I'm not super-cautious about this, it's not my first pregnancy, but equally don't want to be a liability when I know ds will be mad keen to get involved with all the animals there.

Any advice?

Yes I believe they do, but lambing should be over by May, it normally starts in late Feb/March depending on how warm the winter is. But Bosinver is lovely, there are lots of other animals and also it is plenty big enough to keep well away if there happen to be any lambs. When I was pregnant, living in the country we couldn't keep away and I didn't have any problems, I would just suggest don't touch them and make sure the whole family washes hands after being anywhere near the animals (obvious I know, but it is what they recommend).
There are some great recommendations from other mums and dads, so it would be a shame if you missed out.

Thanks HM, it does sound lovely there. Can you tell I'm a townie?!
