My friend has just been banned from Premier Inns for having a crying child in a 'Family room'!!!

I can't believe it! Why have 'family rooms' if you don't appreciate the fact that, erm, toddlers can make a noise occasionally?

I am stunned. They were only there one night and are the nicest family imaginable.

Boycott!!!

How strange?
How can they be banned?

Thats nuts!

I only have the bare facts on facebook thus far...apparently they were 'spoken to' by the manager, not certain if 'lifetime ban' is completely serious, will find out soon.

Apparently they were making no more noise than the couple having extremely loud relations next door

I used to be a receptionist at a Premier Inn , and will take a wild guess that the reason your friend will have been banned, is PIs' 100% satisfaction guarantee, whereby anyone can say they didn't have a good nights sleep because of PI's crap bed your friends' child crying, and get the price of their room back. Another profit before people company.

How horrible for your friend, totally unacceptable.

Whoops, sorry this is an old thread! Was browsing right the way down, looking for posts on Dublin and didn't realise how far back I'd gone!
