Butlins - Can you park outside apartment to unload luggage?

It's our first time to Butlins Minehead. And with a 3yo and 1yo we have lots of luggage. What's the check-in process? Are the q's horrendous and can we drive to our appartment to unload luggage etc... Also, any other adviceCheers

No, unless you pay for the super expensive deluxe apartments. Standard, silver and Gold all require you to park in the main car parks and then they provide trolleys to help you transport your stuff across to your room. It is a bit of a pain, but okay.

Yes you can we have been to Butlins Minehead, and stayed standard and silver. You need to go to the main reception which is right in front of you as you enter the site and ask for a Ferrying Pass make sure you have checked in in the pavillion (big tent!) first so you can let them know your room number. You can check in any time after 12 but the key to your room is not activiated til 4, however when we went last week our room was ready when we went to find it and as a room supervisor was walking past he let us in at 3 so you might get lucky if you go to find your room around then and ask!
Any way the Ferrying pass lasts for 45 mins and allows you to drive onto site and park as close as poss to your room then go park in the main car park once you have unloaded. IDon't know when you are going but if you haven't left yet it is well worth ringing the site direct (find number on butins site under contact us contact minehead) to pay the £10 to guarantee a ground floor apartment. Hope you have a great time my kids are 4 and 1 and they love it!

Forgot to say you can also get one on your last day for reloading to save time go to the reception the night before and tell them you are leaving before they open at 9 the next morning then you don't have that extra hassle when you are trying to pack. As for check in it was well easy very clearly signposted and the lines were not to bad.
