DS1 has just started Queen Mary's at London Uni so we will be visiting relatively often. Sometimes just me, sometimes DH and DS2 and I. Anyone know the area and could you recommend places to stay. Chain hotel like Jury's In would be ideal. His hall is in Alderney Road which is near the Mile End Campus and Stepney Green tube. My knowledge of the London areas is not great so I have no idea whether E18 is near E1 for instance. Thanks in advance.
