weight restrictions in the Sandcastle in Blackpool

i'm rather large to say the least and going to Blackpool.Kids want to go to the Sandcastle which is great but I don't think i'd be allowed on the rides due to my weight.Does anyone know if there are places where you can just swim etc?

If the kids are old enough and competant enough swimmers to do things on their own. There are only 2 rides that are weight restricted the rest you would be able to do anyway.
