what sort of thing are you looking for cottage/carvan and if hotel how would you want to split party

Probably either a cottage or a hotel.

2 kids sharing in their own room would be ideal .

Then 5 adults split between 3 rooms.

or if it was a cottage, could do 2 adults and 2 kids sharing + 2 further rooms.

the holiday cottage is only 6 people spare adult could sleep on the safa?

ooh thank you. The Meadow house looks a bit too modern and dated all at once and the little cottage looks lovely but we do need to sleep all adults in beds.

Any more ideas??

have to say I didn't think much of the Meadow House, but was aware of it so thought I would mention.

How about Tuddenham Mill near Newmarket about 20 minutes from Cambridge.

Tuddenham Mill is REALLY nice, but 20 mins from Cambridge is v optimistic!

also Quy Mill at Stow-Cum_Quy, if interested in hotels - much neared to Cambridge (though the frolic one in Lode is near aswell).
