Anyone know of (or own) a nice self-catering cottage to rent in Cheshire (or Lancashire)?

Looking to go at October half term.

We're visiting family in Chester and Manchester, so it would be good if it was convenient for one of those places.

I'm struggling to find anything other than aparthotels in Manchester itself.

Cottages4you have several in Cheshire - they mostly sleep 4 but there are a couple for 6.

They also have one near Chorley (Preston) & one on the moors near Rochdale.

There is an Availability Search link at the top of the home page - go via the MN link (click Discounts at the top of this page) & you get 7% off

Thank you. That's really helpful. They have a few suitable places near Chester.
