Hotels off M5/Worcestershire to break up journey?

We are going to travel from Devon to Yorkshire (we must be mad ) and need to stop over somewhere for a couple of nights and days to break the journey.
Do you know of any child-friendly hotels around this area, with things to do for a weekend.
(Evesham fully booked and The Elms demands Fri/Sat stay - so can't do either of them).

Thanks

You could try The Pear Tree at Smite (jct 6 near Worcester Warriors Rugby Ground). Easy to get to W Mids Safari Park or Evesham Country Park (garden centre & shops AND small wildlife sanctuary and mini steam train. Right on edge of Worcester if you want to do shops/cathedral/museums etc

When we were relocating to this area, we stayed at the Evesham (which is fab but v quirky), and the Tewkesbury Park which is more normal, but child friendly and has a pool. Easy to do Malvern/Worcester/Pershore/Cheltenham from there.

What sort of things do you like to do ? Evesham country park has a lovely little steam railway, nice picnicing and kite flying.

The Cotswold Farm Park is very popular, and a great play place.

Pershore has a lovely abbey, and a park with waterplay, plus some really good tearooms (and friendly locals
