Can you drive straight into it and park up etc...

yes it's got its own big free car park.

Tinker · 30/06/2009 14:06

It's always very very hot.

Lulumama · 30/06/2009 14:08

it is the only place and time i have ever had a panic attack when shopping in there one Xmas

massive big free car park though

you will feel like you have walked for miles

liverpool one is a great north west shopping area , and it is outside!

Iklboo · 30/06/2009 14:08

Yes - huge car park directly underneath but get there early. Several large 'satellite' carparks which are close to the entrances or a short walk away.
Loads of places to eat with different cuisines
Loads of shops
Cinema
Too many people for me

Iklboo · 30/06/2009 14:10

Oh and there's a Krispy Kreme opposite [drool]

Tinker · 30/06/2009 14:13

You will have an overwhleming urge to want to get out within about 5 minutes of getting there and realise the world is divided into People Who Like to Shop and The Rest.

IMO Meadowhall in Sheffield is much better than the Trafford Centre.

YanknCock · 30/06/2009 14:18

Avoid like the plague on the weekends.

Remember to note what type of animal sculptures you walked by when you arrived so you can find your way back to your car.

There's a fountain at one end that all the little kids seem to love watching and squealing over.

If you plan on eating there, go to moneysavingexpert.com and find yourself a voucher. There are usually discounts for Pizza Express, Cafe Rouge, Dexter's, Giraffe. The cheap eats are downstairs, but I hate fighting the queues and trying to find seating.

Don't eat at the Ha Ha Bar & Grill, it's rubbish.

I like shopping but hate the Trafford centre.

dontdillydally · 03/07/2009 10:37

went to Meadow Hall instead - brilliant, very, very quiet hardly anyone about!

I love the Trafford Centre, I just avoid the busy times. Every time I go it seems that more shops have closed tho. I've never found it too warm tbh
