Northumberland coast hotel recommendations please

Can anyone recommened a nice hotel/inn type place on the coast in Northumberland please? It's a one night stopover on the way to the Highlands. I found a nice one in Beadnell but it is full the night we need (I always leave things too last minute).

Mizen Head in Bamburgh is meant to be good but I've not stayed there.

Is there nowhere on Lindisfarne (Holy island)? I think it would be lovely to spend a night there being cut off from the mainland by the tide.

ooh good thinking - Lindisfarne would be good to stay on, will have to check the tide times as we do need to get going at a decent time in the morning. Thanks to you both, will also check fatjac's suggestion.
