When I was 11 - I had the bets ever holiday in the Isle of Man - I would be doomed to failure & disappointment if I tried to recreate it for DD; wouldn't I?

It was great

We took Bikes (I now have arthritis)

We went on night swims (in the Irish sea )

We rode for miles & miles & camped (did I mention the arthritis?)

Yes it'll be fab! I heart the Isle of Man.

I do feel DD misses out because of DH & I

My parents were so young & fit & capable

So I could manage a caravan.....& a car?
