Long weekend booked at Moonfleet Manor next weekend with DH and DD (2.4). I know there's loads to do around that area, but any particular top tips come rain or shine?

weymouth has a sealife center and arcades but LO might be a bit little for that?
Been to weymouth so many times but my mind has gone completely blank LOL.
Will get back to you....

Soft play on Weymouth quay (called Sharkeys or some such.)
Farmer Palmer's farm park near Poole is fab for that age.

Sealife centre is good, but take swimming costume or change of clothes for your dd - water spouts in play area.

Try Monkey World - plenty for a 2 year old to look at and lots of play areas too.

Abbotsbury is close to Moonfleet and has the Swannery, Smugglers Barn and Sub-tropical gardens - all good for littlies - and you get one ticket that covers entrance to all three.

Actually in weymouth theres a deep sea museum by weymouth harbour which hs a ball pool, sometimes in the harbour theres a dolphin that visits in the summer (a few years back that was) & we took our LO's crabbing in the harbour you can buy the line in most tourist type shops, boat tours around weymouth break waters.

OOh we had a weekend at Moonfleet Manor earlier in the year, courtesy of a MN competition! It's lovely! (But beware, it's expensive and if you want to have a drink you might be better buying your own wine).

Swannery at Abbotsbury is lovely. We also went to Lyme Regis, which is about 30 minutes drive away, which was really good.
