Toddler friendly cottages not in Cornwall?

Can anyone recommend some toddler friendly self catering cottages with plenty of things to do for little ones - farm animals, play equipment etc?

I've seen lots of lovely ones but they all seem to be in Cornwall and we don't want to drive that far - we're in Hertfordshire.

Also preferably not mega expensive but any suggestions would be appreciated - I need a holiday!

By the Byre cottages near Bath. We found these through the Baby Friendly Bolthole link on MN and had an amazing week. V near to Longleat, lots of space to run around. Cottages very child friendly - stair gates, toys, games etc. Laundry room with washer and dryer. FAB!!!!

Thanks notperfectmum. I'll check it out.

Vicky, we are in Herts too and can stomach the drive to Somerset or Dorset. If this is the same for you then Helpful Holidays might be just up your street. You can look on their website (google them) and specify places on a farm. They DO also do Cornwall, but lots further east too. The staff are brilliant. Am having third hol with them this year.

Sorry haven't got time to check the locations here, but The Observer did a feature recentyl on 20 farm hols here

We stayed in one over new year in Norfolk. Found it (and others we have stayed at) via the Cottages 4 you link on MN. See Discounts. There is loads to do in Norfolk and not far from Herts.
