HANDING DD OVER ON THE M1?

we are travelling from london to east midlands airport. parents are travelling down from up north to pick dd up.
from previous expierience its very difficult to actually stop around east mid airport and the hotel around there. anyone knoe of a service station that would suit?

I thought there were some new service at the junction just south of East Mids, about jn 23A?

Failing that there is a business park on the right just before you get to the airport, if out of business hours would be a convenient place to hang around.

If you do decide to stop at services make sure you aren't on opoosite sites of the motorway to each other

Donnington Park services (just remembered) are one of those on a roundabout just off the motorway so no Northbound/Southbound problem.
