alternatives to center parc

I need to book at holiday for 6 adults and 4 kids. I assumed we would use center parc but have just seen that the accommodation only sleeps a max of 8 people. Oops. My brother, wife and kids will be over from Oz and we really want to all stay in the same lodge/ cottage etc so we can have late nights with all the kids tucked up nicely in bed. How do I get round this? Or can anyone recommend any alternatives - ie cottages with great shared facilities (inc pool) and lots to do nearby? Preferably lake district/ northumbria/ yorkshire/ peak district
Thanks if you can help.

at the Longleat one, you can get Woodland Lodges right next to each other?

May not be what you want, but two ideas which would allow you to go for CenterParcs:

You can request two adjacent villas at CenterParcs and either:

  • Sleep all the kids in one, and use that one for dinner etc
  • Use a monitor (they tend to be in groups of about 2-4 pretty close together, with pretty thin walls)

Hope you find something good
