Anyone want to go on fab farm cottage holiday to Tredethick, Cornwall - 15 May week?

I wondered if anyone could use a booking that I made for the week beginning 15 May for these great farm cottages in Cornwall?website here If you look at the availability page you can see that they are normally fully booked this time of year. We went the same week last year and liked it so much that we planned to go again with friends and family but the dates clash with a wedding at one end and now with my granny's funeral at the other so we have sadly had to cancel.

I thoroughly recommend it for a very easy kiddy friendly holiday, a mumsnet search shows that others do to eg here. There is animal feeding with Farmer Tim most mornings, pony rides, a lovely heated indoor pool, indoor and outdoor playgrounds, small soft playroom etc.
We have booked the Wagonhouse cottage (sleeps 4 in a double and 2 singles, £815) and Granary cottage (sleeps 6 in a double and 2 twins £1,055). Cottages are nicely decorated and well equiped, I don't think that the pictures on the website do them justice. Just contact them directly to book. Not cheap i know but you definitely won;t regret it.

ah, we are going here in the summer! really good place I can vouch for it. Birdyarms, I had to cancel a couple of years ago for the same reason (clashed wiht a wedding), and tredethick were fine with it as they managed to resell it - have you tried contacting them?

Not wanting to put a downer on this thread but did you guys know that Tim's wife Nicky died just last month?

We've been there several times and I am just stunned to hear that she has passed away. Lovely, lovely family.

I didn't know either, how awful, they are a really super family and she was a lovely lady. When we were there last year she'd just had good news and thought that she was going to be OK.
