I need some local info on Pontefract/Ackworth please...

Hello, We're going to a wedding at the end of may bank holiday. The wedding is in Ackworth and reception at Kings Croft Hotel in Pontefract. The reception hotel is fully booked. Can anyone suggest anywhere to stay? Its looking like the Premier Inn in Castleford so far.

Best hotel by miles in the area is the Wentbridge House Hotel in Wentbridge - a mile or so from Ponty and much nearer than Castleford - should know, had my wedding reception there!
