Had my hen weekend here - 10 years ago. I had a suite and can only describe it as Barbie on acid!! Do you know if it has been refurbished? The location is fab though.

I have been but not for about 4 years
Back then it had recently been refurbished
Location is good

we stayed in a similar looking room

double check if breakfast is included - iirc ours only covered a continental

tripadvisor seems fairly positive
I would stay there again but don't want to make a glowing recommendation as it's been years

The pool was small but must have been included in the refurb. I didn't get time to check it out

lovetolove just clicked on your link. That looks NOTHING like the rooms we had 10 years ago!! In fact, I would be tempted to make a return visit now. I say go for it!

hi ladies, well, we're back! stayed at the queens hotel, took a suite room # 303 and for a 3 star at £135 a night with full brekkie we would definately recommend. (room could do with a lick of paint but nothing serious)

we had flat screen tv's (with freeview) in both rooms (great this morning when dc1 woke we put cbeebies on for him), kettle, fridge, hairdryer! rooms where clean, had a massive bath, comfy beds and great view's of the promenade and the sunset looking over the beach to the west! small warm pool in the basement, we took dc's for a swim this morning before brekkie which was buffet full english and very nice!

great location, just in front of the lanes and the beach front! no parking but parking 5 minute walk away was £15 for 24 hours!

glad we didn't spend the same and do a double room at the grand...
