Luxurious Family friendly hotel in NW England

We want a good quality family friendly hotel in NW England, looked at Dalmeny in Lytham St Annes but not sure,

Any ideas?

The Grand at Lytham is lovely and my niece has just been with her 3.5yr old with no problems.
They do good offers and have a swim pool as well. HTH
