3 or 4 day midweek break in August

We are travelling up to Scotland from the Cambridge Folk Festival (first time camping with kids ) and don't need to be in Scotland for 5 days so are looking for somewhere to stay - can be more camping or lodge. Two kids (5 and 7).

Any ideas of good venues - mid country (know the south and Scotland) but not much in between.

Hi Kaz,i have stayed camping at Balloch campsite which is not far from Luss or Glasgow but much more country than Glasgow.We stayed in tent at the time but think they might have chalets.
