Can any wise Birmingham MNers help me out?

We're travelling to Birmingham next Friday and I'm trying to decide whether to drive or take the train.
We're arriving on the Friday to spend the day at Think Tank/ Millennium Point then spending the night at Jurys Inn before going to Cadbury World on Saturday.
Is this possible by train/ bus? Travelling by train means discount Think Tank tickets but if it would be a huge hassle we can drive instead. We'd also have to carry our bags around all day if taking the train but as it's only one night it wouldn't be too bad (and we have ds's pushchair to stuff things into
I'd also appreciate some advice on anywhere cheap nice to eat with a 5 year old and 13 month old near Jurys Inn!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It's easy to walk from New Street/Moor Street to ThinkTank, and the hotel isn't far.

Theres a Wagamama at the Bullring which is good with children

Thanks cmot.
I would rather travel by train so that sounds promising. Is cadbury world easily accessible by train?

Or you get the train to Bournville - I think those are from New Street

Thanks all.
Think I'll go for the train option. Hopefully the weather will be lovely!

Could I pick some brains again please?
Ihave booked the train and need to work out how to get from New Street to Think Tank. The only directions I can find are from New Street and I have no idea how to get there either!
I'm useless with directions and have no idea how we're going to manage to get around for two days- what I need is an AA route planner for pedestrains!

this is from the think thank website - I wouldn't worry to much about finding it, its not far and you could always ask for directions. (my DS loves the think tank by the way)

New Street to Think tank is really easy and well sign-posted.

The trains to Bournville are frequent and you are then just around the corner from Cadbury World.

The Jurys Inn is near Brindley place whch has lots of child-friendly restaurants, including a Pizza Express, a Handmade Burger Company etc. Or you can walk down the canal to the Mail Box, which has more places, including a Strada.

Theres good on street signposts to follow. And you can't miss the Bullring, which is visible from the stations and Thinktank, so you can always gravitate back to that

Thanks all. I;m sure we'll be fine!
