We are staying for 5 nights mid April with our 2 year old and would like to hear what its like from anybody else that has been.

I did do a search but only threads from 2005 came up. Anybody been recently? Were the cottages well equipped? Any tips for restaurants/pubs/days out in the local area?

Any tips/advice greatly appreciated!

may be to late for you but we went there several years ago and had a fab holiday. cottages well equipped, lovely pool (we went in July and it was hot for once!) and the farm is lovely - all the kids from different cottages played together in a central area and went to collect eggs etc with the farmer. There's a games room too and you can borrow DVDs etc. Fowey nearby definitely worth a trip though very crowded in the evening. Looe fine for fish and chips etc.
