Can anyone recommend accommodation on the Norfolk coast?

I have decided having had no holidays for four years we are in desperate need of one! It needs to be relatively inexpensive and the nearest coast to us is Norfolk so thought that might be a good start, I think something like a cottage/house self-catering. There would be two adults a toddler and a baby.

We've been to Wells-next-the-sea before and really liked it so if there is anywhere else a bit like that?

Hope we've not left it too late to book anywhere - ideally May or June while I'm still on maternity leave.

My folks-in-law have a cottage in Burnham Overy Staithe, it's lovely. Lots of walks, botas trips and crabbing. Near to Burnham (Up) Market for shops and posh eating and Wells the other way for Fish and Chips and Holkham.

...boat trips...

Just also remembered that at Burnham Deepdale campsite, you can hire Tipis to stay in.

Do they rent their cottage out for holidays or do they live there? Just did a search for Burnham Overy Staithe and it does look lovely.

They used to, however the family got the hump because although it was bought for the family they could never go because it was always rented out. Now FiL/MiL pretty much live there. It is lovely up there - I love the walks to the sea along the wall and across to Holkham (and the gentle hum of my children moaning that they're bored/tired/cold).

We stayed here last year. Was lovely, pictures don't do it justice.
