I am a teacher so need to go away during the summer holidays. DD will be 1 in May. We live in London and would want to drive somewhere, probably not further than around 3 hrs away from London but have absolutely no idea where to go/what to do.
We know we want somewhere with self-catering (2 bedrooms), possibly somewhere that has a swimming pool and lots of other children around (to entertain dd!) but also has nice walks and places to visit.
I have no idea how much these things cost but we don't want to spend an absolute fortune but again want somewhere decent.
Can anyone recommend anywhere please!
(we did want to go abroad but apparently, everything is so expensive because of the exchange rate).
