We would like to go on a weekend away to Cornwall with DD, can anyone recommend places to stay and places to visit?

budget?

will consider anything really as long as child friendly

I always think this Sands hotel place looks nice and v child/parent-friendly. Have never been though.

If its a long weekend you are looking at, then I can't recommend www.higherlankfarm.co.uk highly enough.

We have been there twice, and am just booking to go again - it really doesn't come any more child friendly.

In terms of activities, DS was totally delighted by going to Rock and getting the foot ferry across to Padstow and back, then walking in the sand dunes

"Try Fowey Hall" - is very nice.

If you want a cottage, try here. The owners are friendly, make divine scones, and let the children 'help' with the animals.

definitely recommend The Rosevine. Recently stayed there. Gorgeous. Playroom, play things outside and best of all a little beach at the end of the lane, 2 mins walk. Great food, extremely child friendly.

lots to do in area.
