Anyone know, can you park for free all day on the street in the Bloomsbury area of London on a Sunday, or is that just cloud cuckoo land?

maybe true but I would not bank on finding a space

You can park on street for free around Farringdon. We always do it in the morning (10ish) and there's plenty of spaces then. Not too far to walk from Bloomsbury if you can't park any nearer.

Thinking of around Russell Square area.

I'm pretty sure you can but may be hard to find a space - near the British Musuem (is that why you're going?)

Should be fine but get there early.

Hathor · 18/02/2009 22:09

Yes. So, is it right that we can park on any meter on a Sunday with no charge? When you say hard to get a place, do you think that is impossible at about 10.30am?
Thanks

I would definitely check - most meters will be free but res park sometimes still applies on Sundays. 10.30 should be fine though - I can park right behind Selfridges if I get there that early

Thanks Spicemonster, that is encouraging!
