Wow! That's cheap.

I would opt for somewhere in the town centre on one of the clifftops. You'll be right by the beach and near the town for shops/restaurants/cinemas too.

Right on the seafront there's the Oceanarium, there's a Wacky Warehouse soft play. There's a landtrain that goes along the seafront in two different directions.

You could do a boat trip to the Isle of Wight or Poole Quay or Swanage.

There's the Bournemouth Eye which is a tethered air balloon.

There's Bournemouth Gardens and often lots of activities arranged in there for holiday makers.

There's the BIC, Pavilion Theatre and Pier Theatre for shows. Or 2 cinemas.

There's an open top bus that goes along the coast road to Hengistbury head where there are lovely walks and a little train.

Get the bus to Poole and Poole Park, where there are ducks, swings etc, a train (prob too young for your dd) but there is ice skating there.

Honestly there is tons to do!

Can you get out to the New Forest for the day? - show her the ponies and do some walking. A couple of good places to visit there too (Longdown Farm; the otter place), not to mention the pony trekking.

You definitely won't be stuck for things to do. I second everything Surfermum says, plus there's Adventure Wonderland theme park out by the airport, or, if dd finds that too babyish, Paultons Park on the Southampton road. Also lots to do at Avon Heath Country Park, just outside town.

There will be loads of places doing Easter egg hunts/holiday activities too.

If you google West Cliff Bournemouth or East Cliff Bournemouth there are tons of hotels.

no public transport to paultons park.

Nearest is train to romsey, but nothing from romsey to paultons park.

Its a good 40 mins from bournemouth in the car.

Brownsea island from poole is a good trip.

Poole pottery used to do childrens craft on in the place on poole harbour, but you need to book.

Brockenhurst is nice..always lots of ponies around.

We love bournemouth live about 40 mins away, maybe less I dont drive so am talking complete nonsense.

Psycho may be around she lives in Bournemouth.

We go to Bournemouth every Friday in the summer for the enterainment and fire works but I think that is over the summer holidays.

DD loves the pottery studio although you have to watch how much you are spending we got carried away once and the bill came to £60

The beach is fab and there may be surfers out as there is a bit of wind here still lovely to sit and watch.

Not sure about getting to tower park without a car, but sure it is possible.

bournemouth eye link it wont fly if it is too windy but kids and adults love it

the oceanarium is cheaper to book online

Bournemouth gardens is lovely , they often have art fairs on
