Hi, have a look at www.devonholidayhouses.co.uk . Could do 4 nights from the Wednesday for £168 in the flat. Its in Salcombe, Devon.

That sounds lovely - but it's a 7 hour journey, so much as I love Salcombe (many childhood holidays) I think it's too far

Thanks

We had a fab few days for free at Oct half-term in a Hilton hotel with a pool, and outings, etc.

If you get the number, the Hilton customer service people are really helpful and helped me choose a good hol

We only paid for the adult evening meals - kids ate free, and of course the B+B was free

KatyMac · 06/02/2009 18:56

We would have to pay for DD as she is over 10 & there isn't a hotel within a reasonable distance - what a shame

try ramada jarvis hotels they are doing rooms from £10 a night, we have just booked two rooms for 2 nights for £80.

I found the offer on the Money saving expert website under shopping.

KatyMac · 06/02/2009 21:25

Unfortunately there isn't one in easy travelling distance
